Hi,

There’s something I’ve been wanting to share with you.

My journey into counselling, and specifically into supporting stroke survivors and caregivers, didn’t start in a textbook. It started in real life — in the MESSY, EMOTIONAL, and often OVERWHELMING reality of living through stroke recovery alongside someone I love.

I’ve seen what it’s like when life changes in an instant.

I’ve witnessed the FRUSTRATION of not being able to do what once felt easy.
The EXHAUSTION that comes from caregiving day after day.
The SILENT GRIEF that sits underneath both — for the life that was, and the uncertainty of what comes next.

And I’ve also seen something else.

RESILIENCE.
ADAPTATION.
SMALL WINS THAT MEAN EVERYTHING.

That experience shaped me. It’s why I do what I do today.

My Mission

My mission is simple, but deeply personal:

To support STROKE SURVIVORS, CAREGIVERS, and TRAUMA CLIENTS in navigating the emotional side of recovery — the part that often gets overlooked.

Because recovery isn’t just physical.

It’s MENTAL.
It’s EMOTIONAL.
It’s about rebuilding IDENTITY, CONFIDENCE, and a sense of CONTROL again.

I want people to feel understood — not judged.
Supported — not alone.
And guided — not overwhelmed.

A Dream That’s Now Becoming Real

For a long time, I had a vision.

I wanted to create a space where stroke survivors could come together — not just to talk, but to feel SEEN, HEARD, and UNDERSTOOD by people who truly get it.

A space that wasn’t clinical.
A space that wasn’t rushed.
A space that felt SAFE.

That dream is now happening.

I’ve started a MONTHLY STROKE SURVIVOR RECOVERY CIRCLE, hosted online through Google Meet.

It’s a place where we can:

Share experiences
Talk about the emotional challenges of recovery
Learn practical tools for mental health
And most importantly… remind each other that we’re not doing this alone
If You’d Like to Join

If this speaks to you — whether you’re a survivor, a caregiver, or supporting someone through recovery — I’d love to invite you in.

Just REPLY TO THIS EMAIL, and I’ll share the details of the next session with you.

No pressure.
No expectations.
Just a space to connect.

You don’t have to figure this all out on your own.
